Wang Long Li is a PhD candidate of the department of Communication Science. He holds a double master degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology, with one track focusing on the integral design process (e.g., initial problem analysis, market research, concept development, engineering, and marketing), and another focusing on the human product interaction (e.g., psychology, human perceptions, product experience, and consumer behavior). Additionally, he has a specialization of product design in the healthcare domain. His current research focuses on the design of social robotics in the domain of healthcare. In particular how user’s expectations change the requirements for the robot, and when people accept social robots as an artificial care agent.
