Jie Du is a PhD candidate at the Department of Communication Science at VU Amsterdam. She holds a Master of Psychology from Southwest University in China and a Master of Educational Administration from University of Massachusetts Boston. Jie Du is currently working on the dissertation project focuses on the relationship between self-control and social media use.
