Hande Sungur is a PhD student at the Department of Communication Science, VU University Amsterdam. She holds a BA degree in psychology (Koç University, Istanbul) and a MA degree in cognitive psychology (Boğaziçi University, Istanbul). Her research project, supervised by Dr. Tilo Hartmann and Dr. Guido van Koningsbruggen, investigates psychological factors influencing believability of social media messages.
